If your Mini Race Challenge device is not functioning properly or if there is an issue with the firmware version, you can perform a factory reset to resolve the problem. The procedure is straightforward and easy to follow.
There are two type of factory reset, soft and hard.
Soft Factory Reset
- Open the top cover of your lap counter.
- Press the “EN” button, and release it.
- Press and keep pressed the “BOOT” button pressed until the blue light stops blinking.
- You may have to press “EN” again to restart the device.
- The firmware will reset to factory version 1.0.0.
Hard Factory Reset
If the soft facory reset doesn’t work you can do the hard factory reset. Please be carfull to follow exactly the instruction or you may harm you device.
DON’T connect GND with 3v3 because it may harm your device.
- Open the top cover of your lap counter.
- Connect and keep connected the pins “GND” and “D15” with the tip of a pen.
- Click the “EN” button, wait about 5 seconds until the blue light turns
- Release the pen.
- The firmware will reset to factory version 1.0.0.
DON’T connect GND with 3v3 because it may harm your device.
